D-Tour: Heavenly Soda Bread

Something other than diabetes.

With St. Patrick's Day fast approaching, I would be remiss in my responsibility as a benevolent human being if I didn't share this with all the "foodies" out there.

For the most amazing Irish soda bread in the universe, you must check out William Mauceri Specialty Baking & Catering. Last year my family gobbled up every last crumb.

I'm ordering mine today.

His Guglhupf is also to die for. But to really do it right, you need to have your Guglhupf with Schlagobers. Say that three times.

Guglhupf with Schlagobers.

Co-workers giving me strange looks. Maybe shouldn't have done that out loud.

Foodie would expect a recipe and Irish ingredients so they can slave in the kitchen making a fabulous soda bread themselves.

Thanks for this. I'll order one for the big day here in our household. I like to make things "authentic" by serving Lucky Charms for breakfast. The soda bread will make a nice alternative.
