D-Tour: Change for a Dollar
I was just reading Sandra's post over at Shot in the Dark. Damn you, diabetes! You make me mad! I thought we could all use a little laugh. Ever have trouble getting change for a dollar? This is one of my favorite Mr. Show skits. Warning: Some bad language toward the end of the skit.

(I've never seen Mr. Show, but I love David Cross from his days on Arrested Development.)
Mr. Show was great. I loved how they created a seamless story from skit to skit. One of my favs was when they claimed Mr. Show as an independent sovereign nation.
That is totally what it feels like sometimes when i ask for change.
But all of the time i do ask i feel anxiouls just before i open my mouth. I make a quick scan of the items on the counter for the least expensive thing incase he/she tell me i have to buy something in order to make change.
9 times our of 10 it is someone half my age determinning if i am getting quarters or not.
I found this video very sad and depressing. Now i am going to go and curl up in the corner for a while (don't worry i will bring my blankie).
